Sunny Homes is headed by Navleen (Sunny) Malhotra, who gave up his job as a bank manager to pursue his passion for building homes and turned it into his fulltime career. Sunny has been building high quality homes since 2012.

We moved into our new home built by Sunny, Jonothan and the rest of the Sunny Homes team in December 2022. The timing for choosing to build a home was pretty horrible, and was more difficult and lengthy than would normally be expected for both sides - managing COVID lockdowns and site restrictions, material shortages and delays and trade/contractor availability and delays. Sunny and his team were helpful when we were settling plans and specifications for the build, providing advice and inputs based on their experience and expertise, and helping to validate we were on the right track with our choices and what we were trying to build. Since moving in we have enjoyed our first Christmas as a family in our own little slice of Canberra, and are very happy with the family home that Sunny Homes constructed for us. We have been very happy with the standard of inclusions in the house now having lived in it for 3 months, in particular with energy efficiency of the house (given the price increases) with the all electric design, combined with extensive insulation, double glazed windows and a solar/battery system to support.
